PetBuddy

PetBuddy is a research-driven app developed for my Msc User Experience Design dissertation to help pet owners easily manage their pets' health, track care routines, and connect with veterinary services.
Problem
Despite their best intentions, pet owners face real barriers in managing their pets’ holistic care. From tracking vaccinations to booking vet appointments, there’s no unified, intuitive solution — leading to missed reminders, scattered records, and unnecessary stress.
Outcome
I designed PetBuddy, a mobile app that empowers pet owners to stay on top of their pets’ care by combining health tracking, reminders, medical records, and wellbeing tools into one intuitive platform. The app simplifies the experience, replacing scattered tools and memory-based methods with one seamless, centralised system.

Final Design and Solutions

The final solution was PetBuddy, a mobile-first app designed to centralise and simplify pet care management. Based on user research and iterative testing, the design focuses on supporting busy pet owners with a streamlined and intuitive interface that helps them stay on top of their pets’ health and wellbeing.
